Congratulations to Architect Suzanne Carr, who is now a Certified Passivhaus Designer, following an intensive training course and exam!
This is an important milestone in our continued engagement with all aspects of sustainable design. At Mosedale Gillatt Architects, we are committed to the training and development of our team to increase carbon/climate literacy and expertise within the studio. We are proud to have been able to support Suzanne in achieving her goal of completing this rigorous training.
As practice sustainability lead, Suzanne's role is to collaborate with team members to ensure all projects are reviewed against environmental criteria, and build the wider knowledge base within the office. Within the office we are currently working on several projects that will benefit from her new qualification. These include a new education facility in the grounds of a listed walled garden in Leeds that is being designed to Passivhaus standards, an off grid cottage in Northumberland and an environmental education centre in County Durham. All and more will benefit from her skills and experience.
