Directors Tim Mosedale and Jenny Gillatt are delighted to confirm that Associate Iona Howell has joined the management team as a Director at Mosedale Gillatt Architects. In her new role, Iona will continue to bring a collaborative and hands-on approach to client care. She will develop and lead projects within the practice and will work with Tim and Jenny to grow the practice across a range of sectors.

Iona has worked at Mosedale Gillatt Architects for over 12 years and has extensive experience across a broad range of sectors which allow MGA to offer a wide skills base – she is accredited both as an RIBA Specialist Conservation Architect and as a member of the AABC (Architects accredited in Building Conservation). Iona is passionate about the sustainable repair, re-use and adaptation of buildings and has worked with other members of the team to assure MGA’s position as a ‘Green Register’ member, placing our approach to sustainable design at the heart of all of our projects.

Director and co founder Jenny Gillatt said ‘Iona has been a key member of the Mosedale Gillatt Architects team for a while now and her promotion to Director represents a natural next step. Not only for Iona, but for the wider practice. Over the past few years, Iona has worked to assure the levels of client care, award winning design and careful project management that clients have come to expect from the practice. We are delighted that Iona has joined Tim and I as a Director.’

Iona said ‘I’m delighted to take the next step in my architectural career with Mosedale Gillatt Architects. It’s a really exciting time to become a Director in the practice following recent award success and wonderful projects in the pipeline.’
